I think Longo's actually started in Oakville or Burlington. They are basically the same as Fortino's.

Thank you That Walking Guy!

We can see some brick and glass going up on that first and third pic.

There are some folks over at the Skyscrapers Page Forum who like to use some of my photos to show progress of buildings under construction.

Thought I’d give them some material. Here is the latest progress on the Glue Pot Barbarella’s condos.

There's that charcoal coloured brick we all love. A refreshing change.

Thanks for the post! Hard to tell the quality of materials so far. Glad to see some beige brick (never thought I'd say that) and not just charcoal. In any case, good density and a much needed grocery store for the area.

We already know what the materials will be.

Still no update.

The Claridge Moon website alludes to a "fully stocked grocery store" which to me would mean a full service like Metro or Sobeys as opposed to a food only store like Farm Boy however, developers often use "creative" language that does not always reflect reality.

Ya, I was hoping if they have confirmed a grocer by now. I would have assumed such a large grocer would have made an announcement of sorts by now.

Drove by yesterday. Lots of progress on the Queen/Albert corner. Loads of charcoal brick, but it looks pretty decent.

I don't like how the entire Albert facade is one flat wall. By far my biggest complaint. Otherwise, it's not terrible so far. Nice to see black mullions as opposed to cheap silver ones that stand out like a sore thumb.

What do you mean ONE flat wall?

I count at least 6, with the possibility of 8 DIFFERENT materials. Isn't that good enough for one simple wall? (sorry, just being sarcastic, love when 1,000 different cladding materials are blended together, my fave is the north-west corner of Lansdowne building there...sorry, sarcasm again)

Could be worse, could be a trendy, quick to deteriorate 'barcode' window pattern.

Guaranteed there'll be an 'urban' Farm Boy, Shoppers Drug Mart, and perhaps even a TD bank or an LCBO, if you're lucky. Edit: And three perpetual 'for lease' medium/small scale retail storefronts for local small businesses who can't afford $120/sq.ft. rent.

this one's gone up super fast compared to most claridge builds.
good for them, capitalizing on a hot market. Prices are insane though.
