I was gonna say, SHH in Mount Pearl can give us a play-by-play if it does indeed get any wet snow. I think even that "high elevation" may be too low to see wet snow, but we'll see as the day goes by.

Currently drizzle, fog, and a bone-chilling 5 degrees at just before 9:30am. On Tuesday we were around 10 degrees above seasonal, today we're around 10 degrees below. Our stretch of nice weather couldn't last forever.

We hit 31.1C yesterday (38 with humidity), good enough for our 7th day over 30.0C this year.

Much cooler today, highs of 27C with sunshine. Lower humidity levels too.

Still just rain here but I’ve seen lots of pictures of snow from out around the bay (Clarenville has enough to cover the highway).

After all this cool crappy, often wet-ass (esp. last night!) weather for almost a week here in Edmonton, it's still a bit crappy today. At least the farmers and firefighters must be quite happy.

With the weather as it's been here in Edmonton lately, I can understand how SHH and his fellow Newfies must feel.

Btw, is that driveway wide enough to fit 3 cars?

There was a brief period of about 10 minutes where the rain transitioned to a wet snow mix here where I live in St. John's, but it's since transitioned back into rain.

No, Dad's truck is half on the lawn. They refuse to let me park on the street because it looks bad up here, apparently. And I don't have the patience or, really, will to argue about it since they're letting me stay here until I get a house

At least it's way too warm to snow, as it's currently at 14°C (2:00 pm MDT)!

For what it's worth, just went to check climate data; recordable snowfall in St. John's in June is around a 1-in-14 year event based on 1981-2020 data. That being said, 0.8 cm of snow was recorded on June 3rd 2018.
