good move for once. I remember that project, and it was —

that building has great commercial potential.. but the neighborhood needs customers first
as I said a while back, the quarters is the only area that should be getting subsidized buildings right now
are there any projects around there that are even close to a go?

Put a dense 6 storey south of it with a focus on new grads/young professionals that work centrally.

That surface parking lot has to go. I'm going to hazard the province controls that site? Because the lot is narrow, if it's not economic to develop (and gawd no more retail please), then maybe find some infrastructure funds to turn the space back over to nature?

That parking lot is the perfect site for rowhouses with underground parking.

Yeah... no.

Keep some surface parking and then add a great little rest/pub or three that is accessed from the north but everything is terraced and facing south.

Either that or HSR

yeah, pretty sure that's the lot the province is holding as the potential HSR station

I think you're on the right path for an interim use tho, carbon copy the project north of MKT on whyte, easy win
