I wonder if this is the most Canadians to ever win an overseas league title in one season. I'd guess it is.

Loving little ol' Lille winning the league over money bags PSG. PSG is one of those big clubs that got invited to the exclusive European Super League. I can't remember why they had to decline but I thought it was something to do with sponsorship or you'd imagine they would have accepted. LOL.

This also happened when Montpellier won it in 2011 over PSG. PSG was leading by 3 points at the end of the year, then let go of their no name manager, hired big money Carlo Ancelotti for the rest of the season and they finished 3 points behind. Paying big name managers a bunch of millions is a waste of money 99% of the time in virtually any sport.
