Sometimes neighborhoods merge as well.
Olde Richmond used to be a thing (Fishtown above York Street) and now it's just Fishtown. The remaining bits of Olde Richmond that are behind Wawa are what most people today consider to be the accurate boundaries when in reality it used to be north of York, south of Kensington, 95 to Frankford.
Ditto for Fitler Square. It's an entity of itself, but in reality, isn't it just Rittenhouse?
It's Northern Liberites. Callowhill is a thing but it's further west. Like the deadzone from 6th onward (westbound).
At the end of the day. It doesn't matter. Northern Liberties RCO has jurisdiction over the project.
It's gonna be a great project. Can't wait to see the renderings.

Yeah, I like SoNo. Philly is funky like that in that a lot of neighborhoods boundaries blur the lines. Same with Logan Square. Logan Square RCO has JFK to Spring Garden, Broad to the Schuylkill. I would consider Logan Square to end at Vine Street Expressway, and Franklintown or the "Art Museum Area" or Museum District to begin on the other side. But, some people consider that area Logan Square still, some people consider it Fairmount. Fairmount also blends/blurs the lines with Spring Garden. Wash West blurs the lines with Society Hill... so on and so forth.
Fishtown 100% ends at York Street. No doubt about that. Olde Richmond is everything from York to Lehigh, River to Trenton Ave or Frankford Ave.
