^ I've never understood ovens or microwaves at ankle or shin level. You can't clean them unless you're on hands and knees.

Regardless, maybe I'm seeing a dishwasher in that photo.

I would argue that end of Downtown has been declining in desirability at a disproportionate rate due to some of the issue spilling out from Granville area.

EDIT: Holy sh*t. The cheapest 1 bedroom is $900,000+GST. That's laughable. Basically a million dollars.

Not much different than an old school stove with oven.
I think the thinking is that anything heavy (like a turkey with sloshing juices) is easier to lift below you than from chest level especially if the door does not slide into the appliance (like on the Great British Baking Show).
Plus, short people would have problems with higher wall ovens, especially if the door gets in the way.

On the flip side, it may be low to teach small children not to touch hot things.

What gives you that impression?

From my knowledge this developer (Grosvenor) sold out 50% in the first 3+ months when presale came available.

It's at least 85-90% sold by now.

Also, developers usually can't start construction via funds obtained from banks with subject to have sold x amount of pre-sale units (usually 45-50% of inventory). Although Grosvenor is an unique case here since they are likely their own financier for most of their flagship developments.

But anyways, it would be very unusual to see any developments completing at this stage without having most of their units sold..
