Well it would make sense that I didn't know that! I never go out that way, and it's not exactly a remarkable building

This is their first new-build, right? Should be interesting to see the outcome.

High hopes the lot to the east gets something in the near future too. Augusta will be much nicer with this new build... but much much nicer if something happens on the other side of the Pheasant Plucker.

Hopefully there will be interest in developing the street between Hughson and John as well.

Interesting to see the single width vehicle parking ramp. A unique solution - which works given the small amount of parking here. That sort of thing is rare in Ontario though, it’s good to see that Hamilton seems more amenable to creative parking solutions than other municipalities. Now if the OBC could just be amended to allow for steeper ramp grades. The maximum 15% grade limit in Ontario still requires these massively long ramps that make tight sites like this one challenging to accommodate below grade parking. It wasn’t always that way, there are plenty of older buildings in the province with much steeper grades.

So long as bike parking isn't on a floor other than the first. I am currently forced to park in the underground garage at my work, and getting up that ramp is not a fun time at the end of my work day.

Taken from the Core Urban Instagram page. Signage is now up on Augusta street. I think that's a new render?

That looks great. Should fit in nicely.

I hope CU has their eyes on that lot on the corner of Augusta and Hughson, too!

According to the city of Hamilton GIS base map 165 James S is the same property as the one on the southwest corner of Hughson and Augusta. So your dream may come true. Imagine this entire block by Core Urban. Pheasant Plucker just surrounded.
