I agree. However, there are a few hotel projects still on the horizon.
Sandman SIgnature building a new 6 floor 222 room hotel near the airport...Wyndham Garden Hotel on Madison.. a 4 floor 132 unit hotel, Sutton Place will eventually rise and be an over 20 some floor hotel, 275+ rooms & separate 17 floor residence....Plus the MMF is building a 4 storey boutique hotel with 40 luxury units on Garry St. So, while you & I would not take the risk, others are.
Hyatt Place would have gone thru on 138 Portage East had it not been for the shyster lawyer trying to rip investors off. So hard to fathom but by the time these all get built, we should be closer to normal times.
