Side note, it seems all the old two-hour parking spots in the Mount Pleasant area, north of Broadway are being changed to pay parking, parking pay machines are marked out with some poles to get installed.

That sucks about the pay parking - that's where I park to go to browse at Winners/Homesense and Canadian Tire.

It wasn't that dark before.

It can be that dark; or it can be lighter. It has computer-controlled electro-chromic Smart Glass curtain wall glazing. It also has concrete and hybrid mass timber - steel construction and, as it's designed by and for Fast and Epp, revolutionary building earthquake protection using Tectonus seismic connectors.

It was rezoned in July (6-5 vote to approve). The developer doesn't appear to have submitted a DP Application yet.

Strand preparing to reveal their Prior Street project to the east of the new St Paul's. 264 rental units in 18 and 19 storey towers, with a 5 storey office/retail podium. Online pre-submission Open House on 13 May.

I could see the 5 storey podiums being considered too tall, with them sitting to the south of houses on the north side of Prior, and potentially being a 'wall'.
