In all seriousness, though, sitcoms set in a city don’t do much to build out a city’s image or talent pool.
I think the Chicago Med/Fire/PD series did a huge service to Chicago to achieve that. But I would like to see us catapult off of that success to do more in depth film work. I see it happening. I mean, Cinespace has grown into something utterly massive, I don’t see it packing up and disappearing once those Dick Wolf franchises end.
