I would not want to be a Leaf player taking a faceoff against a member of the Canucks tomorrow.

I really enjoyed watching that game last night and really hope that the Oilers meet the Jets in round 1 for it will be a gooder.

Big win.

Pay me a few million a year, and I’ll take the faceoffs, no problem!

Besides, the canucks haven’t played since what, March 24? That’s over 3.5 weeks now. Any virus they had is long gone.

Just like in the 80s, the Oilers totally have the Jets number. The Jets will have to figure it out and fast, because that first round matchup seems almost inevitable now.

I'll be surprised if any Canadian team goes further than Vancouver did last year.

I wouldn't want to be any Leafs player if they get their asses handed to them tonight by a team that hasn't played and barely skated in almost a month. And I won't be surprised at all if that happens. And as a Leafs fan, I'm going to really hate my Facebook feed if it does lol

I wonder how many Vancouver hockey players will have their careers cut short due to covid? Some were still complaining about symptoms 2 days ago.

Meh, I'd take the loss and just keep my 2 meters distance from the Canucks.

A Canadian team is guaranteed a final four spot so one is guaranteed to go further.

What a third period!

That said, without Smith doing a solid initial 40 we would not have been in it.

Canucks are 10 points away from Montreal with 5 games in hand. After Toronto we play Ottawa 4 times in a row. If we sweep Ottawa, we are back in it.
