Ground floor now poured. Work has started on the columns to support 2nd floor. Once they get above the rental building behind it it will go up fast.

South of Houston Street. It's an NYC neighbourhood.

All of Mastercraft Sherwood developments in Ottawa are called SoHo (Champagne, Parkdale, Lisgar and Italia). Other developers have also used NYC neighbourhood names like Bowery and TriBeCa

They're from Toronto. Naming residential projects after NYC areas was a popular trend about a decade ago, when this building was conceived.

Good to see it above grade. Can't wait to see it topped out. We desperately need a counter balance for Icon.

Went by today as well. The second pic is from the north-side. While pic 1 is what I believe to be the garage entrance due to the slope going down into the building.

That reclad looks really nice. Too bad it's for a real estate brokerage and not a restaurant or coffee shop.

Lots of those on Preston. A little variety is fine. It’s a furniture store just up the street, which is good.

They are actually progressing in Italia pretty quick...last time I went by there a few weeks ago, it was still just a large pit in the ground.

Some high-quality renderings I haven't seen before. Found on the Soho Italia website:

Not quite... notice that they overlaid some ghosts of the Claridge Icon’s north face in the arboretum for some reason. Easter egg?

Looks amazing. Should make for an excellent contrast with the curvier Icon.

Hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. Quite strange.
