They keep coming....

"Now I've learned Zachary Kirkhorn, Tesla's under-the-radar CFO, has purchased a house that overlooks Lake Austin, thanks to some public-records sleuthing and an assist from my colleague Laurel Calkins. The Austin Relocation Guide describes the red-hot neighborhood where Kirkhorn bought a home as “one of the most exclusive luxury real estate areas in all of Austin.”
And more are coming.....
"Musk and Kirkhorn aren't the only ones in the automotive world putting down roots in the Lone Star state. On Friday, my colleagues broke the news that John Krafcik was stepping down as CEO of Waymo, Alphabet's self-driving car company, after more than five years at the helm. I hadn't realized Krafcik also moved to Austin. It's on his Twitter bio, and property records show he bought a house in the Barton Hills neighborhood last fall. What is he going to do next?
A matter of time?
"For now, Tesla's headquarters remain in the hills of Palo Alto, home to Stanford University and long the center of gravity for Silicon Valley. But once Tesla's Austin plant is complete, I wouldn't be shocked if the corporate headquarters moved, which would instantly be fodder for another round of “Is California Over?" and “Texodus” stories."
