Are they crazy about trucks, or just prone to dangling painted iron testicles from the hitch?
The latter but also both I guess.

Yeah I'm aware of the fall-to-spring Lake Okanagan Temperature Inversion, I was also referring to general perception. Toronto certainly isn't perceived as a particularly sunny city nationally. The only other one I can think of are the four I mentioned and Kamloops... even though both Kamloops and Kelowna receive over 300 hours less sunshine per year than Regina (the next least sunniest in of the 5).

Just being sarcastic. There's a Canadian forumer from Mississauga that often argues that Toronto most resembles a US Sunbelt city.
Oh lmao! I was legit like "wtf"? And just for the record to whoever that former is, no it doesn't.

Well, yeah. All the many lake beaches here seem very popular with Ottawans: Meech, Leamy, Philippe, La Pêche, Blanchet, Taylor, Simon, etc.
Ah ok. Got it. I went years ago to Meech Lake with my cousin and his wife (cousin from London, UK, wife from Lyon) and she was listening to the conversations of the 'locals' who were on the beach. She was fascinated at the terms/words being said and remarked that she couldn't understand a lot of it.
