Like I sad in the other thread. Would prefer not to have the big red colour blocks. But meh, it serves a purpose and is tucked away in St. James.

Beautiful building for Assiniboia. It's got red, dark grey, light grey, white.

Oh and by the way, I'm moving to the vicinity by the end of this month, so maybe I'll live see this one get built.

Even in Russia they don't use rendering software from 1995. I bet.

The new Ronald McDonald house is now under construction at Juno & McDermot. If I recall, they finished levelling the site in spring or summer 2019.

As of Friday.

I heard today that the guy who bought the parking lot north of kings head wants to build a restaurant. That would be good.

Now for that weird garage parking lot thing south of kings head. Could be a cool project as some sort of music venue or something. It has a really neat gritty feel.

I remember thinking 20 years ago that the Maws Garage was ripe for some kind of development, especially given its location. I'm a little surprised that no one gave it a shot.

Why can't it be a dumpy and weird flea market? Winnipeg is a dumpy and weird city; it should lean into those qualities.

I could swear there was a proposal to turn Maws Garage into some sort of music revenue but the residents of the area killed the idea before it got too far along.
