I would have been very shocked to hear that it would take this building 3+ years to complete. In fact, they started drilling for this in February of 2019 and the first columns were up in October of 2019. Pushing the completion date to 1Q2023 would make it a 48 month job. That's supertall length of schedule.
Granted, this building has an intricate design and the site is unique with water on two sides, but still, that's an unusually long construction schedule. I just checked the construction dates we had posted to the building's page in SSP's database, and they were 2019 to 2021, and there's no way at this point that it'll be done this year.
I don't think you can say this looks bad for them. No one could have predicted the logistical troubles that Covid caused.
