In my mind they sacrificed way too much livability for visual aesthetics to please what? For bystanders like myself saying wow they must have shitty floor plans when looking from afar?

Do you think those juliet balconey sliding doors pivot so you can clean the outside (of, say, bird poop)?
I always wondered about that.

Also note the radiators acting as sills along the windows. I wonder how those will hold up?

The strata fees are also all over the place, this unit that's only ~100 sqft bigger than the other one but is almost 2x more in maintenance costs. Do they just pull out numbers out of their ass or is it because its 2BDR?

This is the worst condo layout I have seen in Vancouver.

This is laughably bad.

To even contemplate spending $2.7 million on something like this is mind numbing.

Literally the only justification is investment and expectation of capital appreciation.

That was clearly not designed or built with living in mind.

Its clear this building is about form first. Function a distant, distant second.

Sad for a building full of "homes."

That said - I'm glad its up. It does look great...

I have no idea how Artemisia went ahead. Its so underbuilt for that corner. But I will definitely check them out.

That top bedroom is a joke to me.

That column location is brutal. The size of the bedroom is brutal. The entry is narrow as heck.

You have to travel through a den/spare bedroom to get to the master.

Everything is just so awkward and impractical for actual lived experience.

I would be more accepting if this was a "climb the property" ladder run of the mill unit you and I could afford as a starter home.

But this is a near 3 million dollar condo. That's luxury by any standard.

One has to view this an investment first for it to make any sense.

That's my perspective too - I get luxury, I get expensive.

But I don't get paying luxury prices and getting a bedroom that can hardly fit a bed, and would realistically require someone rollover the bed into sleep on the left side.

That's not luxury, that's your first apartment when you moved out with buddies and lived in a closet and got most of your calories from beer.
