Thanks for the pics. This building is cool. Its so different, but in a good way. Definitely adds some character to the area.

There will be a lot of tourists pointing their cameras up for this building.

It's too bad the performing arts center was such a disappointment

Homer Street is being closed as well so I guess both cranes are getting removed?

Only the North crane is being removed, south goes April 3rd.

I checked it out mid-afternoon and saw nothing different from Saturday, and no one around.

I saw five guys walking along the jib, attaching the mobile crane cables. They didn't look too happyup there, and that was mid morning before the wind got up. (Obviously I couldn't see their faces, just how cautiously they were moving).

I was watching a video recently that was explaining how cranes are raised and lowered and they said that during these times is when the crane is at it's most vulnerable. Extreme caution must be taken.
