I would have settled for the same dollarama railing, if it had been front-mounted and covered the slab edges as shown in the original architectural renderings?
I think the installation issue is that each balcony is slightly different. The cheap railing manufacturer has to put in custom orders for the one-off lengths at each end of the balcony.
This is a process that can't be done in advance, because they hired someone with an ok-looking truck to stick on some railings, so what the guy with truck does is install the basic parts, until they can't fit any more segments. Then they take a site measure, call-in the order, and wait 6-8 weeks for delivery of the custom panel at the ends of the balcony.
