Thanks!
Those are pretty delicate glass louvres on the Georgia side.

I hope they don't turn into pigeon roosts. They look sloped down from the bracket?

I'm also thinking that they could be easily damaged during window washing (probably more than vertical louvres since they create a step or barrier that could be impacted).
I expected aluminum louvres, if any.

Maybe aluminum ones would have been more likely to become roosts, than the glass?

Looking good'

Looking at the blade signs, I wonder if they would have looked better centred in the grills?
I suppose the grill would be a heritage feature that they can't disturb (?), but if the signs were centred on them, then the grills would be visible from both sides, whereas as proposed, the grills are wholly blocked from view from one side.

Is that white wrap on he spandrel on the georgia side, or a big white spandrel stripe?

It's a big white spandrel stripe. I can't imagine it's going to stay that way. It's rather incongruous.

Wellll... maybe that white spandrel stripe is going to be the way it is. Look at this rendering I found on Quadreal's website.

If they are going to be light strips then I sure hope they perform better than the ones on the Telus Garden condo tower.

Ugh. Thanks.

I looked at the model pic previously posted and didn't see the stripe so thought it was a wrap.
I figured that the asymmetry on the model wasn't to bad. This will take the asymmetry over the top.

But you're right - it looks like some sort of lighting feature (I'd expect colour).
Being across from the library and Deliotte Summit, there's unlikely to be many complaints!

(PS - the ugh is for the asymmetry, not a lighting feature per se)

Walked past today and the white spandrel doesn't look too too jarring.
It has a slight green hue to it (ie typical colour).

Nice shot. Do I see a hint of the redone Sun Tower? I forgot about that project.

Apparently it now has a genuine copper roof, rather than a faux one:

That's my thoughts too...

If a swing stage hits one of those edges, won't it shatter?
Not only for window washing, but other types of repairs.

If the window washers are on ropes, then they need to repel without hitting the ledges, and the ropes usually hang against the building (so along the edges of the glass (presumably not sharp enough to cut the ropes)).
Usually when the washers pull up the rope after completing a section, the end of the loose end of the rope flies all over the place
- would it break a louvre?

The second (lower) louvre seems to be in front of vision glass, so do they have to clean between the louvres?

Then there was the question whether pigeons will stand (and poop) on them.

Without a word of a lie, when I brought up something like that with an architect once, the response was "that's an operational matter". Talk about washing hands, the idiot.
