Does anyone ever draw comparisons between a sea of triplexes in Montreal with a sea of tract housing in a suburb? Both have a bunch of similar looking structures jammed into a big space.
I know the lifestyles of these two living spaces are miles apart, both literally and figuratively, with one being vibrant with the other being monotonous, but do Montrealers in particular ever compare how similar both situations are when considering the repetition aspect?
I would have liked to see some houses mixed in there, though the structures facing the main arteries there must have storefronts. Like how I'd like to see some multi type housing and storefronts mixed in with suburban houses like they have started doing the past several years.
