Yup - that's what Leftcoaster mentioned.

... and his comments suggested that the rest of the concrete cladding will come down in due course.

This has got to be one of the biggest reno projections in the city, yet we still don't know which hotel it will be. And has Apple formally confirmed this is an Apple store? We all know the rumours and it makes sense, but has it even been officially announced?

Nope, neither has been officially announced.
They are just tenants, so it's up to the landlord when to disclose.

It's also up to the tenants, who are usually the ones delaying announcements.

The hotel reno is getting much more ambitious than I imagined. This is a good thing!

it appears as if they are creating some double-height suites at the top of the hotel

They were already double height suites when it was the Four Seasons - at least the big window to the right of the construction elevator.

By me today.

Beams for the mezzanine in the pavilion part are being installed.

I just realized that the glass pavilion will be quite short.
You can see in the rendering below that the greenwall (full height of the existing Four Seasons podium)
is about a storey taller than the pavilion.
The roof level is where the angled I-beams are placed.

TD Tower lobby will be renovated starting next month.

Image sent around by CF.
Looks like they are getting rid of the travertine and chandeliers,
and reverting back to brass fixtures.

The steel beams for the roof are tapered at the ends for the curve.
