Looks like it could be a custom promotion for a major aggregate supplier in the Birds Hill area based on the name and logo. Probably any of the small micro brewers in Manitoba could have done it.
I just wonder what the cost of the cans would be for a small run.
Getting back to the building topic , it had sort of a strange look to it when I looked out the lunchroom window last night at 11pm. The gloom and mist gave it a strange aura with the Xmas lights glowing from the tower crane.

Every direction I'm coming from, whether it be on TCH1 east, PTH8 from McPhillips, Route 90 on Oak Point Hwy, or from St. Mary's Rd, this building is making a presence into the skyline.

I really noticed it the other day coming over the Disraeli Bridge. I think that's one of the better views of the skyline in the city.

its pretty amazing how often it pops in the skyline. I guess being away rom the other towers at portage and main it gets the space to stand out. I see it all over the place. It sits so nicely in composition with the other buildings. really rounds out the PM towers.
My favorite views, which might be a little different from every one else's, are coming east down Portage from the Polo Park area. At no time does it stand out on it's own, but I love the way it completely fills in gaps between buildings as you go through some of the bends on Portage. It looms prominent because it is viewed as tall as all the foreground buildings but is actually the furthest away....makes the downtown feel denser with depth.

...also noticed the white "fin" is being installed on the south side of the building. Up to 3 or 4 floors.
