Etcetera. So it's no wonder that he's fleeing the state that continues to impose the toughest restrictions (because he doesn't care about anything other than the success of his own endeavors).

Is it Gigafactory or Terafactory?

You can add Tesla Arcade and Tesla software to the mix too.

Amazing stuff. They're going so fast!

Interesting to see the the whole site -- including what looks like a whole second separate plat that's cleared and graded and may be where battery production will eventually go (?)

Did anyone else notice in that video that he mentioned the construction permit has already been extended from 1.5 years of primary work to 3 years? Caught my attention.

I have noticed three site plan change filings since the original site plan was filed. So in that respect, the plan for what actually gets built is still a work in progress.

Gov. Greg Abbott said he expects Tesla’s presence in the region will ultimately be far bigger. He said he is talking with Mr. Musk about the potential relocation of Tesla’s headquarters to Texas.

This is the biggest single construction project I have ever witnessed. To think this is only happening on ~400 of the ~2,600 acres that Tesla has purchased so far is mind boggling.

They have far more in store for this land.

Reading between the lines, vehicle production of the Model 3, Model Y, Semi, and Cybertruck. Confirmed.

Then battery production. Confirmed.

Then solar production. Speculated.

Then Tesla Arcade opening an office. Confirmed.

Then the software team opening an office. Confirmed.

And then corporate functions like the HQ. Speculated.

They have relocated the contractors' office complex so hopefully we will get more information about the next construction phase during Tesla's Q4 2020 Earnings Call.

Makes me wonder if the legislature will relent and allow him to sell his vehicles in Texas just like any other dealership.

It won't matter as Tesla moved to the model of buying the car online and having showrooms only.

LOL. I haven't seen the take anywhere else but I 100% agree our stupid-ass* law stipulating such is actually going to be a silver bullet to the industry. I can see the direct-to-consumer auto sales being perfected here and modeled all over

*apparently not!

They're the worst. I agree. Shysters.
Overpriced and you pay through the nose on fees. I love just buying cash cars from people. Bought one from carvana and that was surprisingly decent. Like everything was done online and I just showed up and got my car. Online is definitely the future, shipped right to your house.

"Tesla’s Giga Texas production facility is fully funded by the automaker’s $12 billion capital raise in 2020, opening the door for more automotive manufacturing plants to be built in the future."
