Others can correct me if I'm wrong but the plan at some point was for Whole Foods and Lifetime Fitness to take the space. Not sure what the plan is for the rest of it.

driving in from the NW (Elston to Division today), this thing is huge for the skyline. Wish there were 6 variations of this proposed throughout River North, West Loop, and South Loop

They've been going 6-7 floors a month before the setbacks. Now that they're past the setbacks, it's possible they could top out by March

I just realized you can see the board of trade building from here. We have such a gorgeous and perfectly sculpted skyline.

Wow! simply amazing. A skyscraper lovers paradise. One Chicago's impact on the skyline when complete will be enormous. And to hopefully add Tribune East to that scene in the future is just euphoric.

Yes, but this angle always reminds me what a total dud we got with OneEleven.

Right. If one eleven is that noticeable imagine what Waterview could've been

Losing Waterview was one of the sadder moments for the skyline during the '09 global financial meltdown. I would've been fine with dealing with the exposed concrete husk for a few more years if it meant a better and denser development.

very true... waterview tower would of been Chicago's version of a modern "chrysler building"... tall...elegant...decorative pinnacle...hurts to lose that one
