Good view of the fin's last transition. There was a concrete pour for the start of the mechanical room on Saturday morning.

The prominence of this tower really creates the look of a second core in the downtown peninsula.

Wow, looks great.

These big bad scary taller towers have really improved the aesthetics of the skyline.

I was going to say the same. Height variation adds so much to a skyline. There is so much potential with Vancouver if only the view cones would get the boot.

Whenever I see an opportunity to access this restricted rooftop area I go for it. Today I only had time for one quick picture.

Thanks.
That wall looks like it's meant to be visible for a while.
The back of the office tower looks good.

They are on the mechanical penthouse / elevator overrun now.

Here's my pic from Dec 5th:

I'm thinking one more build-up on that fin (3 to 5 more meters) and One Burrard is crested.

Slowly getting the Toyota Dealership's glazing done.

That's a pretty impressive impact to the skyline.

From my view it's taller than One Wall Centre (which is at the top of the hill)

I'm hyperventilating looking at that ruined skyline. How could they do this? /s

Seriously, all these recent additions, from Shangri-La onwards, have made such a positive impact on the skyline. One of the genuinely good outcomes of stipulating higher standards of architecture for tall buildings is that these 'tall' towers are all of pretty great quality.

It's strange with the topography of downtown Vancouver that Shangri-La and Trump Tower are almost invisible when you look from some southern points in the city.

MNP Tower "suffers" the most due to the topography

Klazu, those pics are worthy of a IPA. My 4K display is also giving an award for that panorama.
Here's my tribute to Burrard Place on Tik Tok Burrard Place Timelapse it's phone friendly
My YouTube tribute (4K 16:9 version) is still a work in progress.

Great shot - really shows the relative heights above sea level.
