Does anyone know if the braided entrance/exit project to get rid of the traffic light at pres. blvd got delayed with everything else at the port?

August 2020 Passenger, Cargo Traffic at Austin-Bergstrom

Norwegian: As of today, has delayed its U.S. service resumption to the end of March 2021. AUS was not listed on this report.

Lufthansa: As of yesterday, the FRA-AUS route remains offline (through at least March 27, 2021).

Norwegian's Gatwick (LGW) service returns on May 22, 2021. 3x weekly utilizing their B789.

Norwegian's CDG-AUS launch now set for May 22, 2021 as well. 3x weekly utilizing both B788 & B789 (depending on day). Reservations available through September 7, 2021 (seasonal service).

The new airport terminal looks different than the official renderings. The skylights are definitely different.

For real. That is a total design change lol. I rather liked the random little skylights, but I also like the look of this one too.

Man, I miss the airport so much....can't wait for international flights again

It's already been stated before - regarding the poor financial position Norwegian was - and still is - experiencing.

Well, the Norwegian government just decided not to award any further aid to the airline. So, does this put the final nail in the coffin of this airline?!? Sounds like it may.

Been thinking that, for all the big ticket projects that've managed -- against all hope -- to move forward during the pandemic -- the big gaping hole remains the ABIA expansion. I still don't think we have a real grasp of what the project delay looks like, or what the pandemic has done to funding. I get that we were still early in the process (waiting for fed approval, still pulling together funding sources) but I don't think it's a stretch to say there's been damage to the forward motion, and it's the only project no one's talking about publicly. CC expansion and Project Connect are both in the news. What's up with ABIA? Anyone heard anything at all?
