^ they keep building it.

Why would they stop now? In order to get the maximum investment, the building needs to go as high as planned.

The 'activist investors' (such a corny term) got their way. Beginning of the end for ARTIS in Winnipeg.

It will obviously get finished but there may be some major changes to how it’s being run. Beyond that it’s all speculation.

I’m curious to see how the new board of directors and management will lead ARTIS for the better. From their announcement, they claim to have a higher vision than the previous. It’s gonna be important because leadership is important for such a publicly-traded company.

Well this is different, they have started placing hollow core on the next floor without finishing the hollow core on the previous floor (which they haven't done any hollow core placing for more than a week now). I haven't seen this happen before with this build.

Photo while UFO is under construction. 360 Main comes in just to the left of Bell MTS tower.

I would assume we are just one round of steel away from the final crane raising? What do people reckon? Raising by end of December? Early January?

They'll need to get the steel up, hollow core in place and do the grouting. Probably be February is my bet.

I believe the next crane tie in is at 32. So like Bomberjet said, they need to grout the 32 floor. They will have to put up at least another 2 levels of floor plates so that the 32 floor can be tarped and heated to allow for the grouting.

Crane is scheduled to climb 5 sections on Jan 13th. Tie in is 3' above the 33rd floor. 34 will need to be grouted.

Love seeing a fresh perspective of this! You can also see the progress on the St. Regis demo from this angle.

Nice photos!

The lot directly west of the building (shown in the photo) and across the street, this was recently purchased by Artis, was it not? I was hopeful that might have meant a 3rd Artis tower at that location. Curious what the new leadership group will plan to do with that empty lot, more so than the future of 300main (which one would assume would be completed as planned, adjustments notwithstanding).
