I liked it as well the 2 times I've been now. I was on my way back from Ft Ed, so coming up 142 I had to go round the block and come in off of 102. But it was worth it.

If you're on 142nd, you can take 103rd Ave, and then go onto West Block Drive. There is a parking lot behind the building as well. It's not obvious but I assume they will adjust once the area is finished (I found it by fluke myself).

It's a great, great addition to the development and neighbourhood. Very friendly staff. Be there a few times already.

My friend works at that location, so I am glad to hear good reviews!

Tried Rosewood Foods today for the first time and absolutely loved it.

Had the chicken katsu burger and the wifey had the lox and eggs sandwich. Both absolutely delicious. Washed it down with lagers from my favorite local brewery, Sea Change.

Also grabbed a cruller that I was planning to eat tomorrow morning, but ate immediately when we got home. So damn good!

^so fresh, house-made and delicious.

The Cabin and OTR are both shutting down as of tomorrow until 'early 2021'... and I fully expect more places to do the same.

Been to Tres Carnales Rostizado twice now, love the fresh new interior and food is much more casual/approachable. Fries supreme, tacos, tuna tostada all hit the spot. They have a few burger options too, Alley Kat Lupita lager, good happy hour specials.

So much for my NYE plans. If Central Social Hall does the same thing then I may as well stay home and drink my face off on NYE.

The Gavel Pub is having its Grand Opening. It has replaced Bohemia on 97 St.

I'll swing by at lunch and see if they are open. A panini might hit the spot.

Their original plans will wrap a patio around if I recall.

We are finally getting back (sorta) to when we had that fantastic grouping of:

Praha
Nikitas - damn I miss their chicken burger/fries/vodka
Cocodis
La Table du Renior

Praha is located on 101 St just north of Jasper Ave and were featured in a "Josh Eats Edmonton" segment just recently.

Co Co Di relocated to Jasper Ave just west of 114 St but they shut down permanently, likely due to COVID.
