Whatever it means, its lame when you put shit on your building that billions of people will see and don't have a clue what the letters stand for. Except for obvious things like F U, we all know what that means.

I have never seen One Congress Plaza lit up in any color but blue. I didn't even think they could even change the color on those neons. I figured it was just a color shift on the picture. If anyone has other pictures I'd like to see them cause that is definitely a first.

They light different colors all of the time. Sometimes they are red, white and blue, I have seen them green and red for Christmas, all red, all blue, all green. I work at night along the Riverside area and have a semi-good view of downtown from my apartment, so I am constantly looking at the skyline on a nightly basis.

I think the strange coloration on One Congress Plaza is the way the photographer edited the hues.

I've lived in Austin my entire life and as much as I love DT since I was a kid, I remember when that building was under construction, from the moment they lit that building, it has always been blue. The only other time I've seen that building a different color is the new Austin City Limits skyline stage which has it red. I see DT pretty much daily, including walking around the river tonight. I've not seen pictures or video of One Congress Plaza any color but blue. Maybe your confusing it with 101 Congress across the street (the 3 triangle pointed building) That one does change colors from time to time.

I think that's just natural light of dusk on the curved glass. I kinda like it.

No, not the "face" of the crown where the common area is located....it's the crescent frosted glass which has been half lit or completely off for the past few years. It looks so bad...I don't understand why they don't just light the whole thing anymore.

They need to fix the blue ring of light that used to be on the top of the Austonian too.
