I don't want to start this thread out with giant Negative Ninny vibes, but I feel this is all going to be Value Engineered down to a very basic version of this vision.
The concept seems overly pretentious, the classic stuff that architects say when pitching their ideas. But in reality, when a developer has to get their head around building the nooks and crannies and flourishes...reality bites and it's just too expensive to make.
Unless they're getting a starchitect to lead this project (in which case expect the unit costs to be stratospheric), I'm pretty sure all of the things that make this project look interesting and attractive (subjectivity notwithstanding) will gradually be faded out.
