I went by the worksite today for work. Majority of the excavation is done and sealing of the pit has commenced. Cranes should be up by months end.

I got an email saying they were on pace for the first crane to go up next Thursday, the 20th.

That was fast. They just started digging in late February.

One Central has been digging since last October and still not done. The 1st crane just went partially up this week however.

Both projects look similar in depth.

This one is under construction too as the crane footings are in the ground.

That's going to make for a lot of cranes in the area. I count 13 in surrey city centre. Have there ever been more?

One Central is much deeper but the site overall for this project is no doubt larger.

Render looks great! It's nice to see development slowly creeping northward from the central area for infill to eventually connect with gateway. Same thing on the south end towards king george too.

The diagram at the site says they're going to have 3 cranes at some point!

I'm super excited for this project because, unless I'm mistaken, university & 104 will be the first intersection in dntn Surrey where all 4 corners have a new development

Great view of this project from the SkyTrain. Passed by a week ago and didn't look like any significant progress since the last update.
