Possibly mis-landing a piece of hollowcore? I imagine it doesn't take much to shake a tower.

Question about 360 Main — when they reclad it a few years back, did they simply tint or overlay some glass over the concrete bits between floors or is it full curtain wall glass? I can never really tell.

It's spandrel covering the structure. The windows are every 3rd row of glass that you see. Same as it was before.

Fun fact: it takes the crane operator 30 min to climb to and from work every day. Not sure why they don't place a walkway on the last building tether but, he starts at ground level every morning.

ahh, thanks. I figured they didn’t alter the structure to have floor-to-ceiling glass window with no (or little) break between, but just wanted confirmation.

Probably has to do with the risk of death being too high.

isn't that what happened a few months ago when a similar incident happened? hollowcore being dropped? I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case

^ AFAIK they never found out what the issue was last time. The entire building was reviewed.
