This is exactly why I continually tell you guys it's not confirmed until you see construction happening. I know it upsets people when I do that, but this is why. You get excited about something and then the disappointment 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 the life out of you. Better to tell yourself "it might happen" and then if it does you can feel really happy.

You're absolutely right. Believe it when you see it. The Council deserves a lot of criticism here. They touted the plan as a done deal (I would presume it had community input), and then hid behind these new input mechanisms to walk it back (Osborn and Missouri have also been shelved). I think the composition of the Council over the last 3-4 years has also led to less enthusiasm for active transportation. The Mayor is really the only one who cares. The rest of them are pretty soft.
