Really really hope to get to Kelowna myself next summer and take some pictures.

By that time there will be 2 or 3 more towers in the skyline rising!

Not really, no. A bit of colour on certain types of trees, a few leafless trees (mostly from the drought), but the vast majority of streets are still very green. I expect with the cooler weather this week we will start to see some change happen.

Vancouver, nor any of BC, ever experiences the true mass colour changes that happen in Eastern Canada. The tress certainly change colour but remember that the vast majority of trees in BC are evergreens.

Those are great pictures of Kelown. I have always preferred the rough and tumble barren look of the Thompson/Okanagan over the heavily forested West Coast. Just personal preference.
