I think in 2021. Just got an e-mail about it being planned right now.
It will be north of Tower 1.

They have installed some light things, I assume they will be used for signage, in the overhead walkway linking to the Rec Room from the Grand Hall.

yea they added posters for the Rec Room. I noiticed lots of work happening for the Rec Room but what you can see of the Cineplex it looks like not much is going on, perhaps they want to open Rec Room first since Theatres have not seem to have recovered yet. I read that the Regal chain in the States is shutting down again due to Covid and Hollywood has been pushing back most movies to 2021.

most of the ceiling panels have been completed, just a small section left now

Are these frames just part of the building or will they be used for posters for the shops?

Nice.
Did you notice the windmill palm trees in the median just west of Willingdon? I saw those about a month ago.

Thanks.
I hadn't driven past there in a while and was surprised to see them.
There must be around 6-8 of them (?)

I wonder what they will do with the big pits under the station in the middle, is that the city responsibility?

I thought I heard that Burnaby relies on adjacent development to fund the beautifcation below the guideway
- which would explain why there are plants in the median west of Willingdon, but not [yet] to the east.

Very cool! I thought for sure those towers in the video were renderings until I clicked on it. I remember the first time seeing the towers while driving west on Hwy 1 coming around the bend and feeling in Awe at the presence those towers provide.

I have been looking at the floor plans of all the towers they have multiple bedrooms. There are many without windows are being labeled as a bedroom but Canada's building regulation states that a bedroom must have a window. How would this affect resale value that being said you cant resell it saying its a multiple bedroom but instead a it would be a den if it had no windows. Is there any other condos that do the same thing?

Bedroom window requirements probably dissapear if you have sprinklers.

Oh thanks, did not know about that I was just looking it up since I do own a suite and it was mentioned to me that it should not be considered a bedroom because its smaller than 80sq ft and also does not have a window.

After some research i thought they should be labeled as dens also. But they were labeled and sold as a bedroom. I did not know about the sprinkler making it a legal bedroom though so maybe it is a bedroom?

the outside ceiling panels by the rec room are all complete.

Looking in the windows you can see TVs are installed, and chairs are stacked, It could open probably within in a month or less.
