Crane

was just told by forman on site a crane will be set up from king street on saturday night the 26th. A second crane coming but unknown when.⁶

Naaaah, just a fake out, they will back to digging !! Really looking forward to this massive development and investment east of James . Hope it rises faster than the putting hole in the ground!

I saw Joe Mancinelli interviewed yesterday on the first episode of a Chamber of Commerce show on Cable 14. He confirmed that the crane was going up on the 26th.

So you think access to parking for Core Urban's King street rebuild. Smart on their part and collegial on Liuana (although suspect nothing done for free).

6 Cranes

1.Vancor at Queen and King
2 Platinum also at Queen and King
3.Cobalt
4 and 5 Kiwi Condos
6.Vancor main and Walnut.

Huh, I thought there was 3 cranes at King & Queen. Still though, I love to see that many!

Eventually their will be a second on the vancor site at Queen and King.

Interesting - it certainly looks that way. I wonder if that is part of the reason why Cobalt ended up going down 3 levels instead of the originally planned 2, to provide a level of commercial parking.

It would certainly make it more convenient - gotta adapt with the times - you can't park outside of the businesses anymore since they widened king st - that's the reason parking was never a huge issue in the late 1800s/early 1900s in the city - everyone would park diagonally along the entrances

You forgot 154 Main St East @ Walnut

That would make 7 Cranes!
