Mobile crane on site erecting the tower crane. Looks like common tower crane rather then a Luffing Jib tower crane which would be used in tight space with another crane nearby or other buildings.

Looks like they have hit the pause button on the north side of pit. Would not be surprised they have gone back to architects and engineers to figure out what to do with the old law office house. If they do plan to have 2 tower cranes on site they will likely need a jib crane as the boom would not clear the nearby buildings for the north 29s building. Very tight fit given where the south tower crane boom currently covers.

They have definitely paused on south side of pit to figure out the ground water issues. Hasn't been any rain in weeks and there is standing water at bottom of pit. Looks like engineers are doing more soil testing to decide what to do. Originally Rygar was planning 5 levels of underground parking. When Old Oak purchased the site they changed that to 4 levels. They have since revised that to 3 levels now. Hopefully this doesn't impact the height of 40 stories for the south tower.

They have poured some small concrete blocks in SW corner of pit bottom. Doesn't look like a typical floating slab approach. They seem to be struggling with what to do with the foundation for this project. The north part is untouched and around the old law office house they have avoided going near it. This summer should have seen alot of activity but they have definitely run into issues with water table and the old law office house.

They have dug a smaller pit in center of what should be the base of the 40s tower. Preparing to start rebar installation. Imagine this will be floating footing for tower. Have also poured more foundations around base of the pilings. North side of pit remains untouched.

Rebar installation continues on the foundation slab which will be the base of the south tower. Progress is slow for some reason likely due to lack of workers on site.

Slowly installing the steel rebar for what looks like a giant sump pump pit at center of the south tower. Imagine it will be the collection area for water and pumps will draw it away.

Forming footings continues. Have started forming walls around what looks like a sump pump pit at center of tower. Progress is rather slow.

Looks like the rebar is pretty much all in place in the bottom of the pit.

Yes it was with a small drone. I just thought it would be a good perspective of the site from an elevated view.

Awesome FWD15. Keep them coming.

A number of other projects could benefit from a birds eye view. ie: SOHO, 661 Talbot, 195 Dundas, King St, Hyde Park, Wonderland and Fanshawe, West5, McCormick factory site.

Thanks. I'm hoping to get out more to a few more projects. I really enjoy the updates on this site, and appreciate when others get a chance to snap a pic. Just wanted to return the favour.

They have also shifted the ramp to the north a bit likely to excavate north of the tower crane. Still no sign of what they plan to do with the old law office on Dufferin and the north side of pit where the 29s is planned.
