I don't think I've been down in that part of the city since April or early May. I wish they would get a drone and give us some cool aerial shots of the various interchanges, etc.

I drove 22x from James McKevitt to Chaparral Blvd this afternoon. Some of the roads that was planned to open this past week are still closed - for example the westbound carriageway over Macleod Trail and the ramps promised for Sept. 9 and 11. Not sure about the Sept. 10 ramp.

You are correct Mykie - as you can see from my later post. I was surprised to discover this afternoon that KGL were so far behind a schedule they only posted on 3 September! A schedule that sounded so certain I thought it must have happened!!

The James McKevitt and 6th Street overpasses were open though (but the approach roads are still a mess)

I've heard the progress has been swift further north at Stoney & 14th street. That bridge will be critical for ongoing development north of there, including Keystone Hills.

Access to 22x from 37th is to close next Monday. Going to be fun seeing the increase in traffic along Fish Creek and through Bridlewood, especially Fish Creek with 2 school zones.

He said it was on the Morning news and for some reason Global Calgary does not post anything from that show.

The Global traffic 'copter frequently flies over the various interchanges and roads under construction (i.e. Macleod/22x; Highway 1/Stoney Trail/Valley Ridge; Crowchild Trail over the Bow River). Pot luck whether you catch it. If you can't watch I suggest you PVR a couple of morning shows . . . you might get lucky!

Doesn't their Morning show drag on for something like four hours? That's a lot of content to fast forward thru.
