BMO - Last heard about shoring agreements, but recently heard postponed a year. Focussing on Holyrood.

BMO - At least put up some decent fencing around the site so you can't see it from the adjacent public roadways. Pathetic.

I drove passed BMO site today. Actually pretty horrendous. I'm going to rip an email Monday to the COE. Enough of this.

I agree...should have seen this coming too.
No reason why Regency can't put up some nice hoarding in the meantime. Actually the agreement and demolition permit should have had 'creative' hoarding as a requirement

Given the current economic climate, I don't think there will be movement at the BMO site any time soon, but there is absolutely no reason leaving it looking like @#%

Something interesting like this would help with the eyesore. Not exactly a rich solution either.

I inquired about the BMO site about 10 times with the powers that be and got nowhere. It is simply unacceptable.

Yes. Media pressure, social media, email the mayor and councillors. Heck email Regency directly. If this company truly cares about the city they invest in then they will do something.

The fencing is just chain-link that is falling apart. And this is located right in the heart of Edmonton's financial district. This is totally unacceptable. It is an abuse of our laws and bylaws. Regency needs to be shamed for this. What better way to do this than with mainstream media? I suggest talking to Mayor Iveson, Edmonton City Council and the Downtown Business Association about this. Thank you for listening.
