The podiums of the two buildings on the far left are really terrible.

What’s the white vertical stripe building to the right of the Calgary Tower? Looks to be a great addition to the city.

That's the back side of the podium, as the rest of the block will be developed eventually. The street facing side is much better (high end grocery store and I think a cafe or something?) but still nothing to write home about.

The white vertical stripe building is just a reclad of a tower where the facade was just brutalist concrete and was literally falling apart. It could have been done wayyy better, but somehow this result is considerably better than the renders.

Just discovered a pretty shackalicious building in an urban area of my hometown. Went to see the Street View, it doesn't do it justice at all, because it doesn't look like that anymore; that vinyl siding has been removed and it now has the wooden walls exposed in a way that I am pretty sure is intended to be permanent.

That reminds me of some of the houses in Boucherville’s vieux village. A very Quebecois shack.
