It's not necessarily a nice trait to have, but it is what it is.

Speaking from personal experience, once someone demonstrates they don't care about the teasing, it generally stops.

I actually refrain from doing this online, but I do it in everyday life sometimes as it's easier in person for it to come across for what it actually is in my case: good-natured teasing.
He never stopped even during the years I had him on ignore. What it is is trolling, plain and simple. There's nothing light-hearted or good natured teasing that takes place constantly over the span of a decade He's a grownass man acting like a child, constantly detracting from the spread of useful information on this forum and derailing threads, aka a troll

I appreciate your explanation though. I suppose I just can't fathom why a grown person - assumedly with no developmental delays - would be so infantile I guess, both online or in person.

Anyways... to keep this thread at least slightly on track, I stumbled across this on Wikipedia of all places. Looks to be from early/mid April (small buds on the trees)...

^ Edmonton really needs some more >200m towers to even out the skyline. It'd really complete the skyline more especially from angles like this. Hopefully something like Aldritt comes to fruition (although it being on the opposite end of the skyline from this angle might also be goofy, it'll work from others).

Interesting that pages of (border-line slanderous) invective happily resides here without intervention, but a couple of cartoons were deleted by the highly-skilled, unimpeachable censors.

Big brother indeed.

One of the pics deleted (proposed solution):

That's complete nonsense though. You can't name one single time when I wasn't correct. (Except when disagreeing on subjective stuff.)

By contrast, I can easily name at least two, for you (just off the top of my head): the "how come people pan Edmonton for being landlocked but not Montreal?" and the "downtown Hull is way too peripheral a neighborhood to be considered part of the core of Greater Ottawa-Gatineau".

The thing is, despite what you're trying to claim, you don't react well at all to getting corrected. Or at least, you didn't. If that's (recently) changed, good for you.

In fact, the reason you got into problems with the SSPers you've named is precisely your classic toxic mix of arrogance and ignorance. Now, I'm willing to accept that you've worked on that, and hopefully will see some evidence of it eventually

Great Edmonton shot, the CBD looks awesome, love the combination of the legislature building so visible right next to the Stantec tower, but it's pretty striking how this angle makes the CBD look like it's in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a green belt of parkland.

I don't recall noticing that before (at least not to that degree).

I might even dare to say I find it exotic you won't ever find a pic of the Montreal CBD that makes it look like it's sitting in the middle of the forest (and I'm pretty damn sure it's true for Toronto and Vancouver too).

Wait, you actually needed more examples than that one which was merely the very first one I stumbled upon (and was obviously satisfying enough to prove me correct and you wrong, so I saw no need not to stop right there, having proven what I had set out to prove)?!? You never said that until now... So, all it would take for you to concede that I'm right and finally put this to rest already is that I find you a few other modest detached wooden SFHs almost immediately across the river from Calgary's CBD...?!? Almost sounds too good to be true, I'm skeptical.

I don't know what to do here. Maybe if the 2 of you read what is wrong with you, it might help...

I'm just back to ignoring now, but without the ignore list this time. I already know what's wrong with me honey, and the last thing I need is his bitchass vitriol dragging my strugglebus ass down further. That is a very informative link though, thank you. Lots to reflect on, I think I'm some terrible mix of 1, 2, and 4.

Uhh what? Toronto is pretty well-known for its "city in a forest" aesthetic.
