This is so true. Two thirds of that picture is pure beauty. A North American original that oozes charm. The left third is just.......depressing. The STJ city planners of yesterday must be spinning in their graves.

Pinterest - I use this social media platform to easily add pictures into my posts on this forum. Plus there are great architecture and city photos out there as well.
Those last 2 are so good - love that angle from the south.
Personal opinion is like asshole but man, Calgary tower looks like something out of disneyland - skyline would look more mature without it. Every time I see it, it reminds me of a small town with big town ambitions, nothing city-like about it.
No offence, love the cgy skyline.
That's not shade at all. Th Calgary Tower is hideous, I call it the Kentucky Fried Tower (because the pod looks like a bucket of KFC). However, I love going up the tower. Bing surrounded by taller towers and then the mountains in the background is a cool dichotomy, and I love doing my birthday dinner up in the revolving restaurant
