I don't have a source. It was based on a quick Google Streetview tour of a few neighborhoods around downtown Calgary. The architectural style is different from what I know in Quebec and Ontario so I can't be sure, but a few areas seemed to be early post-WWII in Calgary.
The City of Ottawa has a website called
geoOttawa. On the website, you can see zoning, parks, public facilities, current and future transit lines... But the coolest part are the satellite images that go all the way back to 1928, so we can see the development of Ottawa and Gatineau over close to 100 years.
Does any other city have this type of website?
