Photo update of Waterfall from yesterday. Will the waterfall display be ready for walk-throughs?

Any one heard any news about rescheduling the orientation for waterfall after it is cancelled last week?

Nope

The cancellation email said, "...and will be looking to book appointments for all homes over the coming weeks."

In terms of development updates, I took this photo on Aug 4th--looks like the roundabout trees are now planted!

Sorry, I don't know why the pictures were so huge. Here's a link to the album instead: https://imgur.com/a/JkJ7tyD

Waterfall walk-throughs are starting this weekend!

Some photos updates from today:

The lobby is coming together. Notice they're adding white vertical boards that stick out along the blue strip of windows on the right. I wonder if that'll block the view from windows in those suites.

The fins will probably block a bit of the view to the sides, but they look great!
They'll also block some sunlight, preventing solar gain.

That's a bit more interesting than The Amazing Brentwood's detailing.

Assuming this is the right floorplan it seems like it's in the bedroom for part of it and there's also some interior walls already blocking off most of it as well?

Due to "COVID".

Just be honest with homebuyers and say you are behind on construction schedule. You should have had COVID protocol in place months ago for the walkthroughs, so it's a poor excuse to use because it's so blatantly obvious it's untrue.

At this pace, I wouldn't be surprised if Waterfall completes late September. Hopefully that doesn't negatively impact Starling too.

Bedroom and living room - but also south facing, so they should reduce some heat during the summer.
(Mind you, the tower that will be built to the south may also do that too).

Based on that plan, the east facing master bedroom (which also forms the glass "waterfall" on the east side of the balcony),
won't have the fins, so my guess is that it's a solar gain issue (as well as looking like a waterfall).

Any Waterfall homeowners do their walk-throughs on Sunday or Monday? How'd it go? Photos to share?

Looks like a listing is already up that shows some pictures: https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc/apa/d/burnaby-brand-new-jr-2-bedroom/7183839872.html

... and it has a newer photo that shows the "waterfall" effect of the fins on the glass facade:

PS - it seems like the kitchen island is another way for the developer to reduce the amount of cabinet space.

I guess the whole interrior is done. The lobby is still a bit empty and everthing like corridor and elevator are covered by plastics.
But in general, the quality looked nice.

We did our walkthrough last week as well. Agreed that materials used are pretty good however workmanship is kind of bad. We have quite a bit of deficiencies in our unit. The 2nd (junior) bedroom was smaller than expected, which we expected from previous posts here; we would not be able to fit a bed and a desk in.

Bathroom Mirror

I recall that the showroom featured sliding mirror cabinet in the bathroom but in this listing it appears to not be the case. Can anyone who had a walkthrough confirm?
