Link to a 3D tour of a 1 bedroom unit. Nice but kinda cosy for the price you're paying.

It does seem a bit cramped. If they had opted for a U-shaped for the kitchen with the wall by the bathroom then they might have had more room for the living space, I think. I wonder if it would have been possible to put the entrance and closet where the bathroom is and the bathroom where the entrance/ closet is to make the space seem bigger.

At least there seems to be a lot of light.

Really neat courtyard space and link between Sparks and Queen today. Looks like they were setting up for an event. Could turn out to be a lovely alternative to unshaded benches on Sparks itself!

That looks amazing. Ashcroft and Lahey did a pretty decent job with this one.

Had a look a few months ago, and although the checked tile looks good, walking around it felt loose. I feel they'll chip pretty quickly. The planter in the middle limits the amount of space for a restaurant patio, though that might be the point as residents might not want a noisy patio in the courtyard.

Honestly, this has been the most drawn out project in the history of Ottawa but I am very happy with every aspect of it. Such a beautiful building in an amazing location with some really nice streetscaping and interactions.

Were there plans for a restaurant patio there?

Not sure, but all around the courtyard there seems to be empty retail space that I assume could be used for restaurants.

The building is supposed to have at least one restaurant, but I'm not sure where (probably between the courtyard and Sparks).

An Urbsite article on the old theatre that was on the site, with it's facade now replicated on Sparks.

Plenty of images, here are a few:

For those wondering what was in the parking lot on Queen, the fairly nice blank wall of the threatre.

One proposal for the parking lot by the Ottawa Squash Club, 1974.

Wow, that is a pretty sweet spot! Any idea who owns it currently?

$3,584.75 monthly condo fees, but annual property tax of $7,906 for a place worth $7.5 million seems ridiculously low.

That doesn't sound right. Maybe it's per month? Or per tax period (x2)? Or just plain wrong.

LOL, that has to be a mistake on the floor plan, right? Otherwise, in the middle of the night you'd have to go out and through someone else's bedroom to get to the bathroom.
