Yep, lots of activity. Not sure what they are doing, but there have been a bunch of workers on site for a couple of weeks now.

This build will have such a nice affect on this part of Bank. That empty lot really did some damage on the urban feel of the area. It's really great to see these medium-sized infill developments on the outskirts of the CBD pushing density outwards slowly.

The Central Condos (Phase 1, 2, and 3) really kick started the gentrification of the part of Bank St between Gladstone and Catherine St.

SoBa brought more density and height, but didn't really add much to the fabric of the neighbourhood in my opinion because it didn't bring any new retail or public amenities.

I'm looking forward to seeing what gets built at the James St. Pub site.

Another massive site I'd like to see redeveloped in this area is the Staples at Bank and Frank st. It has a huge parking lot behind it and a small used book store next to it.

For me it's the gas station on the corner of Bank and Catherine. Some nice infill there would bring some continuity to the Bank St. strip, and get rid of the most pedestrian-unfriendly area along Bank.

Next would be some continuous development along Catherine and Isabella. It seems to me that there is a huge opportunity for some more affordable housing (and possibly office space) along that corridor, with many of the lots already empty.

I took these a couple of days ago. The building is definitely having an impact on this stretch of Bank St, visible from the Glebe.

It's also very visible when you're driving west on the 417. It looks a lot taller than it actually is.
