wager if you're coming from downtown Montreal, the advantage of getting out of the city more quickly via the 10/30/20 route and avoiding Trois Rivieres might give you a more reliable advantage. In low/no traffic, it would be a wash. Mostly on which route you could get away with more speeding.
Change the start point to Le Plateau and it might be a different story.
