Drewlo finally started working again on their building behind Rona. Looks like 9th floor wall forming is underway. Imagine they want to get the concrete forming crew to finish up this building so they can move to Talbot project.

Is there anywhere to find information about new home developments in London? Trying to find some current and upcoming ones.

sometimes I wish there was Drewless. (i.e. less Drewlo).
those fugly commieblock buildings behind Rona and that shitty strip mall on Wonderland are spreading like poisonous mushrooms bloom after the rain.
Maybe Drewlo could move to Drumbo.

The Innerkip/Drumbo metropolitan area is a place where many condo developers are eagerly jumping on the bandwagon! They have everything, Mr Steaks Trucker Haven, Drumbo Pub, Snouthomes, etc.

Structural steel now done on the parking lot retail buildings at Oxbury Mall. Looks like one of the businesses will be a Tahanni's restaurant.

I don't drive a lowered car but I hate driving into Oxbury mall. My car bottom scrapes the pavement at the entrance, have to go super slow to save it but that's hard to do if there's traffic on Oxford.

You can see soo many scrapes on the pavement from me and many, many other cars.

The speed bumps there suck too. Too high for non-SUVs. Hopefully the parking lot gets redesigned with all these new builds. Nice to see the place getting revitalized, it needed a makeover for sure!

Looks like Old Oak has the penthouse up on their Mozaik building on Sugarcreek. This is now topped out. Work continues on the underground parking garage. I think they plan to build another 5 storey on the remaining lot east of the current one and they will be done with this area.

Excavating towards the east on Old Oaks Mosiak apartments on Sugarcreek. Extending the underground parking. Might see the tower crane moved to the east soon for the next building.

Good to see they put the least likely to ever happen at bottom of list.

If you count up the floors on the 183 King proposal - which is a rendering I have never seen before - I get....

38 stories!

That's Taller and Better than 25!!

This is nothing but great news for the Core.

It adds a huge number of people increasing the downtown's retail, restaurant, and nightlife offerings and nearly all of the developments are on vac ant/parking lots. This does wonders for infill and making for a more pedestrian friendly constant urban fabric.

I'm really hopeful that all this development will lead to the core getting a grocery store. Would be a great fit in the Centro podium.

Agreed. At some point critical mass happens. Another spot could be the NW corner of King - Clarance, if that indeed becomes a very high density development (and a 38 storey goes up at 183 King).

A full size grocery store as well as a Farm Boy/Remark would compete with each other on price, and that would help keep food relatively affordable in the core (CGM is pricey).

That's a bit of a jump though to go from wanting a grocery store to thinking a grocery store and a Farm Boy would be great. Let's worry about the grocery store first. And if you are going to live downtown, you are probably going to accept that it's going to be more expensive than a suburban store and Farm Boy isn't No Frills either. I think Centro (or the parking lot between Centro and Harriston) would be the better location for one though based on the current and proposed residential within a few block circle.

I think the large parking lot north of the new Fanshawe College building and west of the Shoppers/Moxie would be an ideal location for a pair of tall towers with multiple levels of underground parking, a grocery store on the ground floor and other retail and additional levels of parking in the podium base above. Easy access from Queen and Carling streets for trucks and centrally located to all of the core.
