Of course, as you note, a lot of THOSE kids parents won't like it but I don't imagine many people will begrudging younglings cooling off in a mid-to-late August plus 30-35 degree oven hot summer afternoon weekend.
(....even though it currently doesn't feel like we'll be getting those anytime this year)
I like the idea ,but not in this location. This is a very busy thoroughfare where people hurrying to places , and will only get busier as more towers are built. Should be in more park like setting where people more relaxed.

The plaza opens up all the way thru west side of the middle building to halifax now.

All of these businesses are still nowhere close to opening though

the fence on lougheed has also been moved further north to what seems to be a lobby for tower two. It looks to be about halfway up to the plaza can be walked up to now.

Can't wait for the T3 rooftop light to turn on

And it looks like they applied a coat of frosted gradient at the base of the patio railings on the south side. Would think a solid white base would look better and cleaner... oh well

Went out to visit The Amazing Brentwood the other night -- so impressive. SHAPE has really outdone themselves. Can't wait to see it completed.

Tower 3 really pulled it together. When I first saw the glazing going up, and posted about it here, I thought it was going to be a hideous. The 2 tone finish actually works out quite well.

Seems like they got some community group activities happening... for free perhaps?

I was able to find the full website for the fitness event here: https://brentwoodtowncentre.com/events-promotions/energize-a-fitness-experience-launching-july-18/

i saw the energize thing on their instagram story, was some sort of excercise class held outside of the sporting life, people running in a circle and doing exercises.

Finally! I expected that to happen since LVMH owns Sephora. But I thought they would have announced this a lot sooner.

Shape would have built a lot of such developments around downtown Vancouver if given the right climate. Alas, the opportunities are lost to the suburb districts and now they are getting more of the impressive developments. Congratz to Brentwood, and soon Burquitlam, Surrey Central, Coquitlam Central and Metrotown.

Hello,

Does anyone here who own an EV receive a non-EV/pillar with charging as their parking stall?

What is the best way to go about receiving a different stall that is for EV?

Thank you,

Can't we already stop with this owners nonsense that interests only 0.1% of the readers in here? Even if attracting new users those people only post about those things with no other contribution to this forum.

We really can't stop a new 'poster' from posting. Just ignore.
